Anthony Calton, International Development Director

Anthony formed Gadget Repair Solutions to provide a specialized repair and refurbishment solution to the insurance sector.

With a background in after sales support and over 15 years of experience in electronics repair holding roles from technician to operations manager enabled Anthony to bring together a fantastic team to create an environment where the vision of becoming the ultimate repair and refurbishment solution to the insurance sector could be realised.

Andrew Shelton, Technical Director

Andy joined the team around August 2012 as a consultant and has subsequently accepted the position of Operations Director.

Andy has vast experience in the insurance repair sector with over 19 years in the mobile industry so not too many scenarios are out of the ordinary, in his previous role he was ultimately a part of a 90 strong team and lead the business in co-operation with the team and his ultimate Director from 900k turnover to 10 million in just 5 years.

Andy is very focused and very in touch with the fast changing industry that we work within and is always looking with the support of his team to drive the business forward and to be the best out of warranty repair solution in the UK that truly understands the needs of our insurance partners and claimants alike.

Graham Cornhill, Chief Commercial Officer

Graham started his working career in sales and established his first business in telecoms in 1988. Like many others Graham took advantage of the emerging mobile markets and established a retail business which he grew to a national chain of 62 stores employing more than 350 staff across 7 UK counties.

As the market matured Graham moved his interests into repair by purchasing a small repair company with sales of less than £1m, this he grew to £10m in revenue before exiting in 2008 a majority share to a Dutch partner. Graham's recent investment into Gadget Repair Solutions adds both valuable and experienced funding with solid management knowledge that contributes to our great team.

Mike Kneafsey, Chief Executive Officer

Mike has spent 20 years in Financial Services at HSBC & Barclays, serving as Sales & Service Director at M&S Money & as Regional Managing Director for Barclays retail banking division. Mike also spent 5 years at CPP, initially as Group Sales & Operations Director and then as UK Managing Director, where he had experience of managing large Mobile Insurance schemes across Europe.

Karen Waters, Head of Client Services

In 1984 working as a junior admin clerk, Karen secured a 1 year temporary contract with First Data Corporation; it was here that her career started in the Administration and Customer services arena. Following multiple promotions, she soon became established within the company as a manager of various roles eventually becoming responsible for the management of over 60 staff covering all aspects of business administration. After 17 years of service Karen took a break to spend time with her young son. Following this period Karen secured employment within a multi-level marketing company, Lifestyles UK and Eire, (Oct 2001-Nov 2002) as the UK office country manager; her admin skills allowed her to implement process improvements and streamline the structure of the UK office before moving on to financial services at International Financial Data Services (Nov 2002-Sep 2004) where she was responsible for managing a team of 45 staff, processing ISA and PEPS payments where Karen successfully improved the client communication by maintaining and improving the service levels.

After a 20 year working career, Karen and family decided to take a break from the UK and move to the Island of North Cyprus where they invested in a Fitness centre, a passion and occupation of her Husband Rick. After this successful venture lasting 6 years, the family finally returned to re-establish themselves back in the UK where Karen was fortunate to be offered a temporary position within a mobile phone repair company as an admin assistant manager. After the term was completed Karen was then offered the permanent position of client relationship manager which following successful implementation Karen moved to GRS where she holds the role of Administration and Client Relationship Manager today.
