Day 1
Depart Kuala Lumpur for the cool Cameron Highlands. The 3 hour journey takes you to Tanah Rata up on to your hotel which is located between Tanah Rata and Brinchang. After check in, proceed on your afternoon visit to the Rose Centre, Honey Bee Farm, Strawberry Farm (where you can pick your own strawberries). Return to the hotel in the early evening after a refreshing day in the cool clean air of the Cameron Highlands.
Day 2
The day starts with a visit to the Boh Tea Plantation followed by a drive up to Mt. Brinchang – the highest point in Cameron Highlands. Here you will be guided on a trail walk revealing the mossy forest and montane vegetation. Return to Tanah Rata for lunch before continuing with a visit to the Orang Asli (tribal people) Village. You will be introduced to their way of life and culture. Your guide will also take you the nearby waterfall where you will learn about the uses of medicinal plants in the Orang Asli’s daily life. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 3
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and return to Kuala Lumpur. After lunch, you will be taken to the Batek factory where you try your hand a batek painting. Learn about this traditional craft and create your own scarf, pareo or t-shirt! From here you will be transferred to your hotel for check in.
Day 4
At leisure to explore Kuala Lumpur how you like or arrange guided sightseeing for a more in depth experience. Enjoy the shopping and food in this bustling multicultural melting pot!
Day 5
Free at leisure until time for check out and transfer to airport for your onward bound flight.
