Visa / Immigration in Malaysia

All travellers to Malaysia are required to have a valid passport of at least six months validity to enter Malaysia.

The also need a passport to travel between Peninsular Malaysia and the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak (Malaysian Borneo).

No visas are required for the nationals of Commonwealth countries except for Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Netherlands, San Marino and Liechenstein.

No visas are required for a stay not exceeding 3 months for nationals of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Japan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Norway, Qatar, Slovak, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Yemen, Denmark, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Korea Republic, UAE, and USA.

Visas are required for citizens of all African countries except South Africa.
